Annie was purchased by Tangerine Sport Horses late summer 2009. She previously had been the horse of a family which included younger children. They trail rode her for the majority of her life and she was left alone for about a year prior to her purchase by TSH.
Annie spent the three months in training and went from a trail horse to a competitive hunter. She hunter paced and willingly jumped natural cross country jumps, went over ditches and through water. She was drop on the buckle quiet whether she was in the front or behind.
Annie went to her first known horse show in September 2009 at Horse Shows in the Park at Canterbury. She schooled over the 2'6" courses and competed in the pre-green hunters, placing 2nd in her over fences classes. Not only did she not look at a single jump throughout the show, she was as quiet as if she had done this her whole life.
Annie followed her excellent performance at Horse Shows in the Park by winning the 2'6" jumper class at the Florida horse Park in October.
In January 2010 Annie was sold to a young rider in Jacksonville, Florida. Congrats to Claudia on her purchase of Annie (now Bella) and we will be looking for them at the local horse shows!
