Siobhan was purchased from Sue Davis in 1997.  She had competed in four preliminaries with an advanced rider, but it was felt she was much more comfortable as a lower level horse.  She took Erika from her first event at Snowfields Horse Trials at the training level up through preliminary.  Siobhan was a clever and careful jumper, almost too careful. She would never leave long and would frequently place four or five short chip steps in before take off to make sure she got there just right.  She was quite consistent in the dressage and did very well as a whole. It was clear Siobhan did not want to be a preliminary horse even with more confidence. She was sold in 1999 as an amateur hunter.
