Much has happened since the last update! In May Marianne and Up To Chance and Natalie on Sonora's Song had strong finishes at the Florida Horse Park 3-Phase finishing second and third! Big congrats to them!
In June Tangerine Sport Horses purchased a new competition and sales horse, As You Are. Sara is an 8 year old thoroughbred mare who has been hunter trained. She is progressing well with her training in eventing and is going to be a solid horse for an amateur rider after some experience.
Lily has been confirmed in foal at 60 days though we were unable to determine the gender. I am anxiously awaiting the birth of this special animal!
We are currently working on taking down some trees and developing our sand riding arena to enhace our training and riding ability here in High Springs. Hopefully by the next update we will have photos!

A very sucessful few months! In March riders from Georgia had many good placings at the first outing of the year at Horse Shows in the Park. This past weekend, SVPC riders dominated their division at the Sunshine Regional Pony Club Show Jumping Rally! Their first riding rally was a huge success thanks to Bryce, Emma, Callie and stable manager Natalie!
Lily has been bred again and we are crossing our fingers that she conceives on one try! The stallion is Fleetwater Opposition http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_EahKWRi5Gc. Stay tuned for more updates (hopefully good news!) in two weeks!
The arrival of the two thoroughbred racehorses has been delayed until further notice.

Tangerine Sport Horses will be welcoming the arrival of two retired thoroughbred racehorses in late March. Captain Cash and Stomp Dance are both 2005 bay thoroughbred geldings. Both are athletic and talented individuals who just weren't sucessful on the track.
We are anxiously awaiting their arrival and start in a new discipline and new life.
January 2010
Contrats to Marianne of Valdosta, GA on the purchase of Such Great Heights. Marianne intends to bring Dexter up the levels in the Adult Amateur Jumpers in the coming years.
Contrats to Claudia of Jacksonville, FL on the purchase of Hopes and Fears. Annie and Claudia were a good match and should be quite competative in both pony club and hunter/jumper competitions.
