Descripton of the horse's disposition: Togey is a people person with a very quiet demeanor. He is quiet on and off the farm. He has been ridden by young riders and amateurs as well as professionals. Togey is friendly towards human handlers and exceptionally polite on the ground. Togey can be a forward ride (see Training and Performance Record).

What skills does the horse currently have? Togey has been trained through second level in dressage. He has confirmed most movements including renvers, half pass and shoulder in. He has nice medium gaits and good working gaits. Naturally, he has three solid and correct active gaits. He is forward and responsive to rider aids. While he goes in a snaffle on the flat, Togey can be a strong, forward ride and requires a tactful and knowledgeable ride to bring out the best in him.
Togey was trained in dressage initially, and began jumping a few years ago. He was a natural and clearly gifted over fences. He has been schooled through level 4/5 jumpers and competed through level 2 with double clears. He is smart and honest. He doesn't have a spook and is bold, yet responsive. Togey tends to get bored in the dressage arena and thus his owner is clear that he is not suitable as strictly a dressage horse, neither rider nor horse would be happy with this partnership. Togey is most suitable for someone wishing to event, do jumpers, or couple dressage with trail riding or another activity.
He has been schooled through preliminary level on cross country and first time out jumped ditches/banks/water first attempt with no hesitation. He has a great affinity for cross country and would be an exceptional event prospect.
Togey is great on the trail and when at a competition is focused and ready for his job.
